September Stays Mostly at Home
Boston College opens on the road, then settles into Chestnut Hill:
- Cincinnati at Nippert Stadium
- Rutgers on a Friday night
- Maine at Alumni Stadium
- Virginia Tech to close the month
Three home games after the opener give Boston College Eagles football time to find its footing.
October Starts Testing Depth
The middle of the Boston College ACC schedule shifts quickly:
- SMU on the road in Dallas
- Bye week on Oct. 10
- Pitt for Homecoming
- Georgia Tech in Atlanta
- Duke in Durham
Back-to-back road trips after Homecoming make this the first real stretch of sustained difficulty.
November Carries the Biggest Games
The final month is where the schedule peaks:
- Florida State at home
- Notre Dame on the road (NBC/Peacock)
- Syracuse for the last home date
- Miami in Miami Gardens to close the regular season
The trip to South Bend is the highest-profile game on the board. Closing at Hard Rock Stadium is as difficult a finish as the conference offers.
Dates Worth Circling
Must-watch
- Notre Dame — Nov. 14 in South Bend
- Miami — Nov. 28 season finale
Also important
- Florida State at home
- Georgia Tech and Duke road swing
Those four games will largely decide how the 2026 Boston College football season is remembered.
