Non-conference portion of the schedule
Texas opens with three straight road games against Chicago State, Gardner-Webb and Grambling. After that, a trip to Baylor on Nov. 15 stands as one of the biggest early tests on the Texas Basketball Schedule.
Georgetown follows later in November before Louisville visits on Dec. 1. Road trips to Miami and Memphis add more Power conference challenges. Several mid-major road games fill out the rest of the early slate.
SEC conference games
Conference play opens with a road game at Florida on Jan. 2. Key home dates on the Texas Longhorns basketball slate include Georgia, Ole Miss, LSU, South Carolina, Florida, Vanderbilt, Oklahoma, Mississippi State and Texas A&M.
Tough road tests come against Florida, Auburn, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kentucky, Alabama, Texas A&M, Tennessee and Missouri. The home-and-home series with Oklahoma and Texas A&M, along with the visits from Florida and the road trip to Kentucky, stand out as the highest-profile games on the conference calendar.
Texas basketball home games
Texas has a solid home presence at the Moody Center. The non-conference date against Louisville, plus multiple SEC home games against quality opponents, give the Longhorns opportunities to protect their home floor and build momentum throughout the season.
